Greetings from The Black Caucus of the
Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD)!

The Black Caucus of SRCD is an organization of professionals representing a range of disciplines who are dedicated to promoting the development and well-being of Black children. As a non-profit organization within SRCD, we seek to: provide network opportunities for Black researchers and those interested in conducting research on Black children’s development; build capacity through professional development opportunities for emerging and seasoned Black scholars and others interested in promoting Black child development research in SRCD; interface with SRCD around representational governance and committee memberships; promote child development research generally and Black child development research specifically in research venues nationally and globally; and connect with other organizations that are interested in promoting child development research, policy, and programs including advocacy to advance the well-being of all children.

The SRCD Black Caucus welcomes membership to persons who share our objectives. Membership applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please explore our website to learn more about us.
